Itinerary

DAY 1: MANALI -JISPA (140 KMS / 5-6 Hours)

Travel starts from Manali to Jispa enroute crossing over Rohtang Pass (3980 m) and a few villages in Lahaul valley like Sissu, Gondla and the confluence of Chandra & Bhaga rivers at Tandi. This route would provide you views of mountains, several streams/ waterfalls and hanging glaciers. After a short stop at Keylong continues drive to Jispa .

DAY 2: LEH -JISPA  (335 KMS / 10-12 HOURS )

Visiting Jispa and crossing over Baralacha La 4800 m. Baralacha La has a small lake – Surajtal which is considered to be the source of river Bhaga and travels by surface from Sarchu to Leh crossing over Lachang La (5065 m) and Tanglang La (5360 m). On arrival check in at hotel.

Day 3: LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY  (125 KMS 5-6 HOURS)

On the 3rd day of the tour, wake up to a healthy breakfast and complete the check-out formalities. Then, proceed towards Nubra Valley, which is one of the most famous destinations of Ladakh. En route, you will visit Khardung La Pass ( Altitude – 10,000 ft)  one of the world's highest mountain passes. Click some pictures there and then leave for Nubra Valley. On arrival, check-in at the camps in the valley and relax for a while.

Later, visit the Hunder sand dunes, where you can enjoy a double-humped Bactrian camel safari while enjoying the view. With the backdrop of Diskit Monastery, you can enjoy the breathtaking sunset. Return to the camp afterwards and have a delicious meal. Overnight stay at the camp

 

Day 4: NUBRA TO TURTUK AND BACK (80 KMS 3-4 HOURS)

Wake up to a healthy meal and a beautiful day in Nubra. After having breakfast, get ready for a bike trip to Turtuk from Hunder. Once you arrive, you can spend some time with the locals in the town and listen to the stories. Soak in the unparalleled beauty of the village and get glimpses of its rich culture. Savour the local delicacies and admire the breathtaking beauty. In the evening, return to Hunder and enjoy your evening strolling in the villages of Nubra.

Day 5: NUBRA TO PANGONG LAKE VIA SHAYOK VALLEY (240 KMS 6-7 Hours)

Today is a treat because Shayok valley is a stunning landscape for any Ladakh bike tour, not only for the photographers but oftentimes people would stop to look around and appreciate its barrenness and vastness.  After punching some kilometres on the motorcycle you will come upon Durbuk village, this place is a must-halt for any tourer. Continue your trip to Pangong lake and you will not fail to see the first glimpse of the lake from the roadside. You will continue your journey to Pangong lake alongside the lake. Overnight stay at Homestay/Camp.

 

Day 6 : PANGONG TO LEH 160 KMS 5-6 Hours)

Serve yourself a delicious meal in the dining tent and take a glimpse of the beautiful pangong lake. this leh to leh bike trip is worthwhile because of this lake.  take a walk at the lakeside or do some photography. Pack your bags and get ready to push for Chang-la pass(17800ft), this terrain is what bikers dream of, keep up with the tour marshall for some off-roading experience. Reach Leh and Spend the remaining of your day at your leisure.  overnight stay at Leh

 

DAY 07:LEH -KARGIL (202KMS / 7-8 Hours) 

begins towards Kargil, by visiting the Gurudwara known as Pathhar Sahib nestled deep in the Himalayas. Which was built by the lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. En route visit magnetic hill which defines law of gravity. It has been noticed when the vehicle is parked in neutral gear, on this metallic road the vehicle slides up further driving through the magnetic force. The journey continues along with the Indus river, pull-over at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar river for photo shooting. Right after that the Alchi monastery which dates back nearly 1000 years old so the effect of Tibetan influence can be seen in the local culture, than Lamayuru has a magnificent and spectacular view of the Moon- The landscape is like the structure of the Moon. En-route visit to Mulbek a giant Buddha sculpture on a rock mountain, reach kargil evening.

DAY 08: KARGIL- SRINAGAR (202KMS / 7-8 Hours)

The tour begins towards Srinagar, en route visit the magnificent view of Kargil war famous peaks (TIGER HILL, TOLLOLING) and pay a visit to VIJAY SMARAK, a place to pay tribute to soldiers who laid their lives in the Kargil war in 1999. En-route visit the Drass village 2nd coldest inhabited place in the world and reach Sonamarg ( Meadow of gold). Reach Srinagar evening. The tour ends with Endeavour Ladakh.
